Rural Touring
The Northern Consortium is a supportive network of schemes who
meet regularly to plan joint commissions, tours and other rural touring
initiatives. Using our combined resources, networks and communities to bring
high-quality artistic performances across the North. We aim to help foster
relationships between artists, local authorities, community organisations and
audiences leading to a more vibrant and connected cultural ecosystem. Helping
to promote the arts across the North of England.
We continue to work towards promoting
artistic performances, fostering relationships, striving for greater equality
and diversity in our work and exploring innovative ways to adapt to the
changing industry.
In the longer term we work to create and
impact a positive change throughout the communities we represent and the
industry we believe in.
